Dögönyöző (Massage) Yurt

Putting up a yurt at a festival or a camp can be a really eye-catching, special event. Not only does our yurt create a nomadic home; because of its unique shape and natural partitions it also represents an ancient trade.

"Dögönyöző" is an old-fashioned Hungarian term for massage, interestingly also used to describe a felting process.

On entering the yurt, visitors are welcomed by a display of felt artefacts designed and made by Attila Balasko.

 Deeper inside the yurt, visitors arrive at a secluded Massage Corner. In this peaceful retreat, Emma Oroszi, applying her knowledge and experience of massage (in harmony with her intuition), works to synchronise the client's physical and mental well-being. Here you can benefit the experience of massage in a natural environment.
The package offered includes a day visit to the yurt with an on-going craft exhibition and craft demonstrations, as well as an opportunity to receive a massage during opening hours.

During the event the yurt also accommodates our family.

Sok felhővel széllel fogadott minket a Csobánc hegye.  De nagyon jó hangulatú rendezvény volt (kicsit ijedős  közönséggel). Ha nem rohantak volna el minden kis esőre, szélre, biztos még-jobban sikerült volna. / A lot of wind, cloud, Csobánc tip. But it was a very good mood event.

Az időjárás dacára azért akadtak látogatók! / There was an audience, did not mind them the weather.

Elindulunk / We start

A Dögönyöző Jurtával és velünk hamarosan találkozhatsz a Gyulaffy Napokon Gyulakeszin (július 14-16).

Jurta beavató és útrábocsátó ünnepségre / Yurt initiation ceremony

Nagy álmunk valósul most meg, ennek első megtekinthető, kipróbálható alkalma ez. Most várjuk az őszinte barátokat, fogadjuk a kritikákat. Megtekinthető lesz a kiállítás, kipróbálható a masszázs! Bízunk benne, hogy találkozunk itt és még sokszor másutt is! PARKOLÁS: A polgármesteri hivatal mellett, vagy az iskola előtt, onnan kell felsétálni a játszótér feletti nádtetős házikóhoz, aminek udvarán áll a jurta. (Ha biztosan szeretnél masszázst is próbálni, mihamarabb egyeztess időpontot: 0670-6239343) Természetesen INGYENES! De kritikáknak és adományoknak teszünk ki külön edényeket. :-) Nagy szeretettel varunk!

Exhibition and Massage / Kiállítés és Masszázs

Massage Jurt

We would like to show you our unique travelling nomad home, a special example

of old traditional knowledge. Here you can see a felt exhibition and also try

massage.

We are a couple. Both of us have an ancient profession involving some kind of

massage (human and craft). We find the yurt is a most ideal and beautiful place

for practising and sharing our knowledge.

A big part of the yurt is made from wool. Attila also uses wool for his hand-made crafts, massaging

and moulding the felt in a unique way. If you visit our yurt you can view an exhilbition of felt crafts.

Stepping further into the yurt, you can try an ancient, health-keeping massage technique. Emma's

job is to help find balance in the human body, diminishing pain through holistic touch, stroking and

massaging.

Meeting with art, with each other, is successful if it can help us to take good steps in life. We aim to

follow our professions to the highest standard, helping people to bring out their best, in harmony

with themselves, or simply by taking a good step forwards.
